We Need a Citizen Emergency Guide System Rashid Hussain It is over seven decades now and we are still a developing country. There are numerous countries that appeared on world map after us, have comparatively progressed rapidly. It is high time, Pakistan government authorities should work earnestly towards providing at least basic necessities to the people on top priority basis. In our country, when a citizen happens to be in an emergency situation, there is no state institution to help him out, there is no emergency telephone helpline system where one can call and take immediate guidance or assistance regarding one’s emergency situation. In our country, when a citizen is in a medical emergency, his relatives and attendants really don’t know where they must take him to; no one exactly knows what to do.
