Pakistani Youth using Social Media managed to make # NoblePeacePrizeForImranKhan the top trend and started signing a petition to nominate Imran Khan for earning the Nobel Prize for Peace, on the Global Petitioning Platform Change.org.
On Pakistan's bold initiative to release the Pilot, no positive response from the Indian Govt has come yet. Indian Premier Narendra Modi wants to utilize the prevailing situation in favor of his Election Campaign coming ahead, he seems to be quite satisfied with continuous escalation between the two Nuclear Power countries of South Asia, and he is expected to continue with it till his Govt is formed.
On 28 Feb 2019, Indian Govt sacked Air Marshal Chandrasekharan Hari Kumar who was serving as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Air Command, on account of failed attempt to attack Pakistani territory by Indian Air Force. In an engagement with Pakistani JF-17, IAF lost their 3 Aircrafts; one on Pakistani territory and two on Indian held Kashmir soil; but India's stance is that only one Indian Aircraft was struck down by PAF, while another was crashed on Kashmir soil due to unknown technical fault. Besides, IAF also claims to shoot down PAF's F-16, but they couldn't show any proof, only a piece of missile claiming to be used by F-16, was displayed in front of local Media in a News Conference, held by all 3 Chiefs of Indian Military Forces. Pakistan's stance is clear that PAF didn't use F-16 in that retaliatory action which caused the loss of three IAF Mig-21 fighter Jets, JF-17 thunder aircrafts were used.
The World leaders are very much concerned with this recently developed tense situation between two the Atomic Power States, they are playing their part to end this turmoil. Telephonic contacts are being made with Premiers, Foreign Ministers and Army Chiefs of both countries by US, Russia, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UK, offering to play the role of mediators.
Everyone knows the deadly and destructive outcome if Atomic War is broken out, the whole world would be badly affected, so to bring peace in the region; UNO, USA and OIC need to play their positive role to settle the - core issue of content between Pakistan and India - Kashmir issue. In the larger interest of the World, this issue needs more attention to be resolved as per wishes of Kashmiri people, in accordance with UN resolution.
