Women Want Azadi

Pakistani Women Demand for Liberty on Occasion of International Women' Day

Pakistani Women  took to streets for their Rights

International Women Day was marked throughout the World on 8th March 2019. In Pakistan also, programs were organized by the government and rallies, seminars were held by different NGOs in all big cities of the country.

In this regard, feminism March was carried out by some NGOs in Islamabad, the privileged women were carrying objectionable and inappropriate play cards, posters and banners which was disgusting in all respects, sensible people all around the country condemned it; they were spreading vulgarised atmosphere in the name of demanding women empowerment. Such actions are humiliating for all Pakistani women living in the country which was founded based on Islamic ideology.

Many girls were seen riding motorcycles, participating in Women's Freedom Rallies in Karachi, Hyderabad and different cities of Punjab which does not represent the actual norms of the society where women are enjoying equal rights within due parameters. Only some hundred elite class anties can not be the representation of all Pakistani Women, they just followed the path of Western Culture by organizing such gatherings, which is contradictory to Islam and its teachings, in this way, anti-Islam thinking is promoted, misunderstanding gets created. Freedom doesn't mean to hate dupatta or show dominance over men.

On other hand, in response to this practice, some posters were uploaded on Social Media by the actual and respectable representatives of Pakistani Women which looks the real image of our society; they raised their concern over this issue and condemned the organization of such programs.

Raising voice for equality and empowerment of women is the right which every woman can exercise but the way they are humiliating Pakistani women, trying to make fun of our religious dignity can not be seen respectfully in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Citizens demand that this practice should be discouraged at all platforms to save our grace and dignity.

Allah says in the Quran;

These privileged women need to change the way of their thinking and follow the ideology of Imran Khan, Pakistan Prime minister, who conveyed the message on occasion of Women's Day.

" On Women's Day, we pay tribute to Fatima Jinnah who stood steadfastly beside the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in his struggle for Pakistan."

The PTI government has the vision for the progress of the country, hopefully, it will take very good care of women's rights. We as a great Nation have got to play a constructive role to help this government making Pakistan the State of Madina.
