The International Cat Association (TICA) has recognized seventy-one standardized breeds, Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) recognizes forty-four breeds and the Federation of Internationale Feline (FIFE) recognizes forty-three cat breeds. The Abyssinian cats are generally found in Asian and African countries, originated in Ethiopia, a country of East Africa. The demand of Sphynx cats is quite high, this type of cats is also very expensive. The lifespan of the Sphynx breed ranges from eight to fourteen years.
