Pakistan Resolution Day celebrated across the World

Pakistan Day is celebrated every year on March 23 to commemorate the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940 which resulted in the creation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In the past, owing to ongoing Military operations against the Terrorists in the country, Pakistan, for some years, could not organize Pakistan Day Event by holding a traditional military parade, which is a hallmark of celebration.
Today, the Pakistan Day Parade was held at Shakarparian Parade Ground Islamabad, the commemoration started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, then the national anthem was played. The annual Parade was attended by the military and civilian leadership of the country along with some foreign dignitaries. Malaysian prime minister Mahathir bin Muhammad, who arrived on a three-day visit to Pakistan on Thursday, attended the event as the guest of honor. Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov and commander National Guard of Bahrain, Muhammad bin Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa also attended the Military Parade.

Fly-past of F-16 aircraft, performing magnificent vertical roll, led by Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar, was held while crossing the Parade venue, he gave a message to the Nation through the aircraft's radio communication system.
"Make no mistake, we will always safeguard Pakistan, presenting to you our wings of freedom and the guardians of your skies. Pakistan Zindabad"
Following this, JF-17 Thunder Jets displayed their aerial might, performing in various formations.
Fighter Jets of Turkey, China, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Srilanka and others also performed on this Occasion. Contingents of armored and mechanized Infantry, including Alkhalid and AlZarar Tanks, a variety of Armoured Personnel Carriers ( APCs) long-range guns, radar systems, and other modern weaponry were also rolled out at the Parade.
Embassies of different countries including China, USA, UK, Turkey, and Germany arranged programs in connection with Pakistan Day at their respective Embassies. Dubai's Burj Khalifa was lit with the Pakistani flag to show solidarity with the Pakistani Nation. In Turkey also, Pakistan Resolution Day was celebrated by Turk nationals and Pakistanis, Turk ambassador to Pakistan Mustafa Yadkul tweeted congratulations, posted a video of buildings in Ankara with flashed "Jeeve Pakistan" slogan in English and Turk language.

In Pakistan, many ceremonies were held by educational institutions, NGOs and political parties, a fabulous show of fireworks was held in Bahria Town Karachi, thousands of citizens gathered to enjoy the celebrations.
During the Pakistan Day Military Parade, Chief Guest of the event, President of Pakistan Dr. Arid Alvi, in address, said "It is time to set Pakistan on the path of growth and prosperity which would be the great tribute to nation's Martyrs and Ghazis" he said it was a mistake of Indians to view Pakistan in the pre-partition light, doing so would be dangerous for the whole region. He further said "instead of venturing into war, we should focus on education, poverty alleviation, health, unemployment issue, and extremist mindset, our real war is against poverty and unemployment"
